About me
Meagan is Vice President, External Relations, at Cybera where she leads the communications, policy, and government relations teams. A journalism graduate from Carleton University in Ottawa, ON, she previously spent four years in the UK writing for a magazine devoted to materials science. The topics she covered there ranged from nanotechnology to Formula One car designs and recycled fire hose. This experience has given her a deep appreciation for the impact that research and scientific discovery can have on the world, both in the large and small scale, and the need to foster these discoveries.
